The walk was started in 2010 by Richard Barnes, Douglas Graham and Andy Beer, although there was a brief pause in 2011 due to family commitments. They then continued their trek in 2012, walking on average 20 miles a day in their spare time, in order to complete the monumental challenge.
Each of them have raised funds individually which Beran have matched and to date the challenge has raised £700 for the hospice.
